Where can i get Icelandic króna (ISK) in the UK?

Since Icelands economic collapse prices are now apparently 20-30% cheaper and the way the pound is against the Euro i fancy a holiday to iceland this year.

I have been before so realise it will still be expensive.

My question is where can i get Iceandic Krona in the UK as my bank and Travelex.co.uk have both stopped dealing in krona.
Or am i best just getting the money when i arrive combined with using my credit card which should be widely accepted.

Also i plan to rent a motorbike or quad and tour the country and am looking for a decent map showing all the roads that will be open in the summer. Is the Rough guide map suitable or should i get a proper Icelandic map?

Don't bother exchanging outside Iceland or you will get a HORRIBLE exchange rate. It's not a currency like the euro that has a lot of transactions, so you will get the worst possible rate. The easiest and best is to just use your credit/debit card in Iceland and withdraw money there. You can use credit cards for everything - even buying a famous Icelandic hotdog from a stall on the street, or checking in your coat at a club.
